The Legal 500 ranks FORT as a Leading Law Firm in the Baltics

The Legal 500, an international legal rating agency, has published The Legal 500 Europe, Middle East and Africa 2018 edition, compiling data and creating an international guide to law firms in these regions.

As in previous years, the expertise and experience of team FORT is acknowledged by the ranking of FORT as one of the leading law firms in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

FORT received the highest rank (“Top-tier Firm”) in Commercial, Corporate and M&A as well as in Real Estate and Construction areas. FORT is also recognized (“Leading Firm”) in several other practice areas such as Banking, Finance and Capital Markets, Dispute Resolution, EU & Competition, Shipping and Transport and IP, IT and Telecoms.

The Legal 500 Europe, Middle East & Africa 2018 rankings have singled out five (5) of FORT-s experts as among the best in their fields (“Leading Individuals”): Minni-Triin Park (Estonia) in both Commercial, Corporate and M&A as well as Real Estate and Construction, Jānis Līkops (Latvia) in Real Estate and Construction, Sandis Bērtaitis (Latvia) in Dispute Resolution, Rene Frolov (Estonia) in EU and Competition and Kuldar-Jaan Torokoff (Estonia) in Shipping and Transport.

The Legal 500 is an independent international legal rating agency, which compiles and updates data about the global legal services market on a yearly basis. The evaluation depends on several criteria, e.g. the matters handled by the law firm in the previous year, their experience, and team, specialization and client references.
