Legal 500 ranks FORT among the Leading Law Firms in the Baltics

In April, international guide to law firms – Legal 500 – has published the latest rankings of law firms The Legal 500 Europe, Middle East & Africa 2017. They compile data from Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Just like in the previous years, FORT is recognized to be one of the leading law firms in Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania acknowledging expertise and experience of the FORT team.

FORT has received the highest rank (“Top-tier firm”) in real estate and construction practice areas, as well as commercial, mergers and acquisitions. Furthermore, FORT has been noted in the banking and finance practice area, dispute resolution, IP, IT and telecoms, European Union and competition law, shipping and transport practice area.

Four FORT lawyers – Jānis Līkops (Latvia), Kuldar-Jaan Torokoff (Estonia), Minni-Triin Park (Estonia), Rene Frolov (Estonia) – are listed in the elite section of “Leading individuals” for their excellent professional performance. Concurrently, several FORT experts from Estonia are ranked in the category “Next generation lawyers”: Kirsti Pent in banking and finance law, Margus Kõiva in the commercial, corporate, and mergers and acquisitions, Andreas Veeret in dispute resolution, and Kätlin Kiudsoo in shipping and transport.
