Experience
- Representation of 31 energy producing companies in the constitutional dispute with Parliament of Latvia (Saeima) regarding new subsidized energy tax that was applied as from 1 January 2014
- Representation of two renewable energy producers in the dispute with Ministry of Economics of Republic of Latvia regarding moratorium to issue new feed-in tariff rights for the renewable energy production
- Providing legal assistance to the renewable energy producer in disputing decision of the Ministry of Economics of Latvia regarding deprivation of the client’s feed-in tariff rights in relation with the large capacity (4 MW) cogeneration plant
- Everyday legal assistance to Euro Energy (part of LIBRA group) to ensure long term operation of three biogas cogeneration plants in Latvia
- Legal assistance to the group of onshore wind farms in legal relationship with the public trader regarding procurement of electricity and applicable procurement tariffs
- Providing legal assistance to Housing and Energy Conservation Bureau and Passive House Latvija for introducing the operation of energy service companies (ESCO) model for the private and public housing in Latvia
- Legal assistance to the waste operator in relation with elimination of excessive accumulation of dangerous waste in waste deposit area
- Representing Skinest Energia in disputing the decision by the Ministry of Environment to decline Rõuste Wind Power Park the Letter of Approval under art 6 of Kyoto Protocol and respective Joint Implementation regulations
- Representing Estonian Environmental Agency in disputes concerning Vaivara Hazardous Waste Management Centre
- Representing a number of clients in the environmental impact assessment procedure for the planning of Rail Baltica
