Our attorneys are highly qualified in advising state agencies, municipal authorities, businesses and private persons in diverse questions regarding constitutional, administrative and municipal law. On day-to-day basis we represent clients in acquiring activity licences, environmental and building permits and detailed plans.  We help our clients protect their rights in open proceedings such as environmental impact assessments, as well as in all other aspects of communication with public authorities. We believe that our experience in successfully representing both businesses and agencies in administrative court disputes helps us to better foresee and prevent problems that clients may encounter when seeking their rights and complying with obligations under administrative law.

  • Representation of 31 energy producing companies in the constitutional dispute with Parliament of Latvia (Saeima) regarding new subsidized energy tax that was applied as from 1 January 2014
  • Representing innovative peer-to-peer lending marketplace Mintos in relations with the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia concerning a prohibition to assign the claims arising out of consumer credit agreements for peer-to-peer lending or investment platforms
  • Representing famous bar in Riga in the constitutional dispute with Riga City Council regarding noise restrictions, resulting in recognition of the binding regulations of the Riga City Council as null and void
  • Representing international real estate developer in the administrative dispute regarding construction permit for a large scale development territory
  • Representing Mr Ainars Dimants, the head of the National Mass Media Board (NEPLP), in the claim towards the Parliament of Latvia (Saeima) that his dismissal from the board was improper and his demand for reinstatement
  • Representation of two renewable energy producers in the dispute with Ministry of Economics of Republic of Latvia regarding moratorium to issue new feed-in tariff rights for renewable energy producers
  • Assisting real estate developer in the dispute with Riga City Construction Board regarding the detail planning of the wide territory in Riga and the realization procedure of specific detail planning
  • Representing Estonian Academy of Arts in disputes concerning the construction of the Academy’s new building in Tallinn city centre
  • Representing shopping centre Port Artur in complicated building and planning disputes
  • Representing Tamro and Koduapteek in various administrative matters and court disputes regarding establishment of pharmacies, wholesale and retail of medicines
  • Representing various private persons, tourism and agri businesses in the regional planning and environmental assessment procedure of Rail Baltica
  • Our lawyers have been advising Tallinn City Government in waste management regulations and private clients such as Riigi Kinnisvara AS and East Capital in legal matters concerning water suppliance sewerage
  • Advised in number administrative disputes with Customs Department of the Republic of Lithuania and represented their employees before administrative courts
  • Advised gambling operator in obtaining permits to manage gambling activities, with overall legal support, represented the interests of the client before public authorities
