FORT partner Kuldar-Jaan Torokoff acted as the legal advisor for OÜ Perton Ehitus, in an extensive energy- efficient real estate development project. LHV pension funds will invest 2.6 million euros in the project located in Tallinn Kalamaja
The three-year bond investment will be used by OÜ Perton Ehitus, which is developing the inner quarter of Kotzebue Park, to finance the land purchase to build six energy-efficient four-story apartment buildings. A female couple who has registered a cohabitation wants to have a common surname
Fort lawyers Liina Käis and Tõnis Loorits are representing the same-sex couple and helping them to make history.
“Before this case, only one same-sex couple had asked the Ministry of the Interior for permission to get a common surname – and the answer was no. No one had ever gone to court before. Thus, this case may become a landmark case on which it will depend on whether same-sex couples will be able to take a common surname in the future.” Read the full article here.
