Legitimate Source of Funds Proven before the Economic Court
In representing an Estonian company before the Economic Court (EC) in proceedings regarding property acquired through a criminal offence, Law Firm FORT has proven legitimate source of the client’s funds. By the EC decision of 27 August 2021 it is resolved not to recognize the arrested funds to be acquired through a criminal offence and terminate the proceedings regarding the property acquired through crime. The court decision forms a methodology of evaluation that is of crucial importance in other proceedings concerning property acquired through a criminal offence as well.

FORT advised Capitalica Asset Management in its first Estonian investment: acquisition of logistics complex by Capitalica Green Logistics Fund
Capitalica Asset Management – investment management company of SBA Group – has acquired a complex of green concept logistics buildings near Tallinn. This is the first investment of the Capitalica Green Logistics Fund. Over EUR 100 million is planned to be accumulated in the fund in the coming years, following the strategy to invest in sustainable core assets.

FORT has represented the real estate investment company EfTEN Capital AS in acquisition of the industrial buildings in Panevėžys
The latest EfTEN‘s acquisition – two 20.000 sq.m production buildings in a convenient location within the limits of Panevėžys. AQ Wiring – a manufacturer of electric systems and Adax – a manufacturer of domestic and commercial heating products – now are the tenants of the acquired buildings. EfTEN Real Estate Fund III fund’s investment portfolio after the acquisition of industrial buildings in Panevėžys encompasses 18 objects.
