New team of attorneys joins FORT

FORT Lawyer‘s Publication in Vienna Journal on International Constitutional Law
The publication Lithuanian Constitutional Court: The Eligibility Ban for those Removed under Impeachment Procedure. Ruling of 5 September 2012, case No 8/2012 of FORT lawyer‘s Aurelija Grigoravičiūtė (Vilnius) is published in Vienna Journal on International Constitutional Law (issue 1-2014). The journal is designated for the analysis of national constitutional traditions, assessing the latter in the light of international commitments made by states itself.

Effectiveness of a commercial pledge is considerably limited
In practice, during some enforcement proceedings, a question of whether or not a notarized commercial pledge agreement containing a clause, whereby the debtor agrees to subject himself to immediate enforcement proceedings, constitutes an enforcement instrument that would be sufficient for the bailiff for instituting the enforcement proceedings.
