For more than a month dissolution of private limited company and public limited company through the merger with assets of natural person has been possible
In the beginning of this year entered into force the amendments of Estonian Commercial Code, which allow for the first time the merger of a private limited company or public limited company with the assets of the company’s shareholder and thus create a new simplified procedure for dissolution of the company. This opportunity, however, is subject to certain restrictions.

New Restrictions on the Consumer Credit Business Discussed in the Parliament
The parliament is currently discussing three draft laws with the aim of further limiting the consumer credit business in Estonia. Until now, credit brokerage has been practically unregulated, and payday loan providers have mainly had to adhere just to the restriction of the Law of Obligations Act and the Advertising Act. However, the draft laws that are expected to be adopted before the parliamentary elections on the 1st of March, would introduce significant new regulations.
